Q: Can I talk to you live instead of having to read all of this?

Q: Do you paint things other than mermaids?

A: YES, of course!  Paint Her As Mermaid is just a name. Yurik does all sorts of imaginative, spiritual, visionary, and classical portraiture. He does traditional portraiture as well. For more information contact us HERE.


Q: Do you paint only women?

A: Yurik paints men, women, children, animals and even houses.


Q: Will you deliver the painting to my wedding reception?

A: Delivery to wedding receptions and other events need to be arranged ahead of time and are subject to the artist’s schedule.   There is an additional charge for delivery and presentation. For more information contact us HERE.


Q: Do you only do Fantasy work?

A: No. Yurik enjoys doing portraits realistically as well. (see here for examples.)


Q: Do you paint animals?

A: Sometimes, depending on production schedule.


Q: How long will it take for the painting to get started?

A: It is a common mistake to underestimate the time needed for the entire process. It varies seasonally, but it can be a month or longer.  Because of this, it is very important to get the process started as soon as possible, especially wedding and anniversary gifts. Even if you don’t have all you photos yet or dates firmed up, it is best to call now for a quick consultation right now so you understand the timeline and don’t hit time restraints. Q: Can you do a formal portrait of our founder for our boardroom?



Q: Do you do Corporate work?

A: YES. Yurik works with Corporate Clients, creating Corporate Gifts, Founder Portraits, VIP Retirement Presents. From humorous paintings of the boss to Largescale Corporate Visions for the Lobby, Yurik can do it all.


Q: Do you do illustration?

A: YES, depending on production schedule


Q: Do you do murals?

Q: Will you frame my painting?

A: The artist can take the painting to be framed and make framing decisions for you. There is a $100 fee for this as well as trip charges and the cost of the frame.


Q: Do you do other commission work that may not be a portrait?



Q: What if I want the whole family and lots of details?

A: Yes. Each painting project is priced separately according to size, complexity, level of detail, and number of elements. For more information contact us HERE.

Q: Do you offer volume discounts if I want several portraits painted?

A: Yes, we offer volume discounts. If you are wanting multiple copies of the same painting, Yurik now offers the unique opportunity to order giclee prints of your commissioned portrait, the perfect gift for family and friends!  Available in several different sizes, printed on archival watercolour paper  or canvas with archival quality inks and of course signed by the artist.
Upon completion of your portrait, you can order the prints at a discounted price. Please note that this offer unfortunately does not apply to commissions completed in the past. Yurik can also paint additional copies for 85% of the original. Note that each will be very close but not exactly the same. Please contact us for more info.
